Syed considers his teaching style to be student-centric. He engages students as much as possible by posing thought provoking questions and class participation. He aims to create a positive environment in which students can be themselves, are encouraged and not afraid to ask questions. Syed's goal is to make lectures fun, promote learning and prepare students for real work challenges.

Syed holds a BAcc degree from Brock University. He also earned the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, and the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2017. Currently, he works at Eaton Canada as Senior Financial Analyst. Prior to joining Eaton, Syed practiced public accounting, working at PwC and BDO as a Senior/Intermediate Accountant. He has experience in Audit, Accounting, Internal controls, SOX compliance including IT controls.
