Taralyn Parr
Taralyn takes an interactive approach to teaching, encouraging students to think critically, engage in discussion, and relate course content to their own lived experiences. Taralyn’s overall objective is to encourage students to think independently and form arguments that are supported with data.
Taralyn is currently completing her PhD at OISE at the University of Toronto in Adult Education, focusing specifically on how social inequalities are reproduced and interrupted within the workplace. She has held a number of positions in the private sector, most recently playing a key role in the development and implementation of an award-winning diversity and inclusion program at a National full-service law firm.
Taralyn completed her Masters of Arts degree at the University of Ottawa and her Honours Bachelor of Art’s at Nipissing University, both focusing on Gender Equality and Social Justice and Religions and Cultures.
