It’s Winter Well-Being Week! Prioritize your physical and nutritional health by participating in one of many events built to help you learn about healthy eating, staying active and wellness. Check out the remaining events this week.

Affect Positive Change During UN SDG Week
York is a leader in sustainability, taking concrete actions to advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) on our campuses and around the world. March 4 – 8 marks UN SDG week and York faculty, staff, students and instructors have been taking up the call and making an impact by tackling local and global societal issues.
Winter Term Course Drop Deadline Extended
Due to the labour disruption, the March 11 deadline for students to withdraw from an undergraduate Winter term course without receiving a grade or a “Withdrawn” (W) notification on their transcript has been extended to April 8. Note that there is no adjustment of the deadline for Y (six-credit) courses for which the drop date fell before the disruption began on February 26.

Learn How to Create a Safe Space for All
As a leader, your job is to create an environment where everyone feels safe to contribute to the group. Sometimes creating that space is challenging and takes more than simply announcing “this is a safe space” for it to be true. During this session we aim to provide you with the tools to create this space and how to keep the space inclusive and safe for all. Join the Leading with LA&PS team to learn more.

Volunteer Opportunity: Join the LA&PS International Team!
The International Team is looking for dedicated and passionate students to volunteer as Peer Mentors to the York First Friend program (YFF). This program is designed to build community and support the transition of newly admitted international students coming into LA&PS. Peer mentors will be responsible for leading a team of incoming international students through completing weekly challenges and participating in online activities during the Summer term and act as a Peer Mentor for the first six weeks of the Fall-Winter terms. As a Peer Mentor, you will enhance your interpersonal communication, organizational and professional skills.
Application Deadline: April 5 at 11:59 p.m.

New Paramount Studios are at the Keele Campus photographing graduating students who wish to commemorate their achievement with a portrait. Online bookings are open for students graduating in the class of 2024 (with spring convocation).
There is a $25 cash sitting fee required at the time of your appointment. Photographs will take place at Founders College, Room 113.
To book your session:
- Click the Book Now button below.
- On the New Paramount website select “Book” to register.
- Register as a new user and receive your passcode.
- Re-enter and select “Keele Campus.”
Choose your preferred date and time.

Showcase Your Talent at LA&PS Got Talent
Vanier College Productions (VCP), in collaboration with Founders College, presents LA&PS Got Talent. The event is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a showcase of our talented students.
Performances should be approximately 3 minutes in length and consist of ANYTHING you consider to be your talent – singing, juggling, stand-up comedy, poetry, impressions and more!
