A minor in HRM exposes York students from other units to these key areas and gives them fundamental knowledge of the field. It also makes students more marketable to employers. For students interested in an HRM-related, completing the minor will satisfy CHRP requirements.
The minor may be combined with any approved program offering a major/minor option in the Faculties of Environmental Studies, Health, Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, Science, the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design, or the Lassonde School of Engineering. To join the HRM minor, students must have completed at least 30 credits and have honours standing.
The university calendar is a great tool to keep your degree requirements organized. This is where York University, the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and HRM-Specific requirements are listed. Check under the ‘Program-Specific’ tab.
