Field Experience for International Development
NOTE: Study Abroad
This course aims to provide students with a practical and realistic understanding of how such development organizations as NGOs, civil society groups and aid agencies promote people centered development/or human development in the developing world. It will explore the ways in which intermediary organizations make an effort to identify the needs and priorities of the people, create popular institutions that allow beneficiaries to manage development at the grassroots, and deliver services to the people.
