3rd year Bachelor of Public Administration

My journey through the Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) program, specializing in the Management Stream, has been a transformative experience marked by growth, resilience, and gratitude. Starting as a Junior Ambassador for the Public Policy and Administration Student Association (PPASA) and progressing to Director of Outreach and Treasurer, I developed leadership and strategic skills that have enabled me to support impactful community projects and initiatives. Currently, I work as a Program & Policy Coordinator at Voila/ConnectED Labs, a role I secured through York's LA&PS internship program. This opportunity allowed me to apply the skills I gained at SPPA, growing from an Administrative Assistant to a Program & Policy Coordinator in just 5 months. My practicum with the City of Mississauga’s Disaster & Emergency Management team allowed me to gain real-world problem-solving experience, further strengthening my professional skill set. I am grateful for the support from SPPA, including mentorship from professors and the guidance and network provided by the MPPAL alumni. This journey has given me valuable experiences and skills, preparing me to make a meaningful impact in the communities I serve and shaping my path for the future.
