Nancy Sanders
Nancy Sanders has held various senior executive roles throughout her extensive public service career prior to her recent retirement as the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), Ministry of the Solicitor General of Ontario. As the ADM of Modernization, Nancy worked closely with the Ministry of the Attorney General on the overall modernization of the justice system holding responsibility for Corrections Legislation and Policy Development, Innovation and Data Analytics, Curriculum Training, Project Management and Quality Improvement. She has held various chair positions with the National Heads of Corrections and well as serving as an OPS Liaison Officer with Statistics Canada. Previously, Nancy has served as an ADM in Operational Services and as the Executive Director of Ontario Provincial Schools. Currently, she sits on the Board of Directors for Markham Stouffville Hospital, chairing their Development and Planning Committee. Nancy is an Executive Coach and holds advanced certification in Negotiations and Conflict Resolution Mediation. She is a graduate of Queen’s Smith School of Business Public Sector Leadership Program, holds a PhD in Education from the University of Toronto and a MEd from York University. Nancy is the recipient of numerous awards including the Premier’s Award for Excellence in Leadership.
