Commissioner of Corporate Services & Town Clerk for the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

Becky Jamieson began her career in municipal government in an entry-level professional position with the Township of Brock, but quickly climbed into the senior ranks of the Township early in her career, becoming the Township Clerk, and later becoming the Commissioner of Corporate Services & Town Clerk for the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. In her current role, Becky oversees Information Technology, Municipal Law Enforcement, and Legislative Services. Becky is a socially gifted individual who has been at the forefront of encouraging cross-municipal collaboration and networking opportunities within her various peer groups.

Becky is presently the Central Region representative on the MISA Ontario Board and is on Vice-Chair of the AMCTO Zone 4 Board. Becky loves to learn and is always looking to expand her knowledge. In 2022, Becky completed the AMCTO Executive Diploma in Municipal Management and is presently working towards obtaining a Master of Public Administration from Western University.

Becky is a mom of two beautiful girls and enjoys spending her time outside of the office with her family & friends, coaching sports, running, and exploring the outdoors.
