Kimberley Kitteringham is an experienced municipal professional and a passionate public servant.  In her current role of City Clerk & Director of Legislative Services and Corporate Communications and Community Engagement for the City of Markham, she leads a Department that includes access and privacy, animal services, corporate communications and customer service, election administration, licensing and standards, records management, and secretariat services.  Kimberley is a strong proponent of accountability and transparency in municipal government and helped develop Markham’s Council Code of Conduct.   She sits on the City’s Leveraging Technology Committee and has directed several transformational projects, including the implementation of Markham’s Administrative Monetary Penalty (AMPs) program.  Kimberley has also played a crucial role in establishing Markham as a leader in digital democracy – with the City now having successfully deployed online voting in 5 binding local elections.   She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Political Science and History from the University of Toronto.
