This donation is designated to create an endowed bursary to benefit first-year undergraduate students in a technology or entrepreneurship-based program at York University, Markham Campus. Known as Canada’s High-Tech Capital, Markham is a dynamic hub of innovation and technological advancement, hosting a significant concentration of tech-driven enterprises. By establishing this bursary, AWIN Group of Dealerships is not only providing critical financial support to students and expanding educational opportunities but also bolstering the region’s focus on this critical sector and nurturing the next generation of technology leaders.

Slated to open this Fall, the Markham Campus will offer innovative programs under the Liberal Arts & Professional Studies; Arts, Media Performance & Design; Lassonde School of Engineering; and Science faculties.
Students enrolled in our Financial Technologies, Creative Technologies, and Digital Technologies programs will have the opportunity to prepare for technology-related careers while applying creativity and entrepreneurship to address real-world problems.
