About

Markham is a diverse and dynamic urban community — home to hundreds of head offices, more than 1,500 high-tech and life science companies, and startups. Academic programs at York University’s Markham Campus will revolve around technology, entrepreneurship and how innovation influences industry & society.

The campus increases access to higher education in York Region through leading-edge, tech-forward programs and research designed to harness innovation in a socially responsible manner. It also serves as a meeting place for students to interact directly with employers, startups and community partners.

York University Markham Campus will accommodate up to 4,200 students in spaces deliberately designed to encourage collaboration among students, Faculties and programs. Our campus offers exciting opportunities to shape an intimate, interactive and supportive community while retaining connections with, and easy access to, the larger multi-campus York network.
