Rate of Pay: $17.75 - $19.50
Hours: Fall/Winter Up to 15hrs/week Summer: Up to 35hrs/week

Job Purpose:
The Sound & Light Technician is responsible for setting up and operating technical equipment at events and theatre productions.
Job Duties:
Under the direction of a permanent staff member, the Sound & Light Technician may be responsible for some or all the following tasks:
- Provide audio, visual, and lighting support services.
- Set-up, operate and strike AV components, lighting and stage equipment as directed by the event organizer.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Support faculty, staff, students and guest speaker’s with technical equipment requirements and special requests.
- Collaborate with clients and staff members to interpret and translate ideas into imaginative sound and lighting aesthetics.
- Conduct regular and seasonal inventory of technical equipment.
- Maintain organization of studio booth.
- Assist with technical and dress rehearsals.
- Schedule and track rehearsal requests to ensure efficient use of studio space.
- Attend and participate in regular team meetings.
- Assists with special projects and administrative duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
