York U experts available to comment on CETA

TORONTO, October 31, 2016 – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has signed the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with the European Union yesterday, October 30, in favour of free trade between Canada and the EU. York University experts in international trade and related topics are available to comment on the new trade deal with the EU:

Professor Gus Van Harten, Osgoode Hall Law School, who has extensive knowledge in the legal aspects of international investment and investor-state dispute settlement, is available for media interviews on why CETA is not in the best interest of Canada.

Professor Emeritus Bernard Wolf, Schulich School of Business, who is an economist with special interest in international trade and investment, trade agreements and tariffs, is available to discuss the benefits of CETA to Canada and the EU.
