York U expert on homelessness available to comment on national housing strategy
TORONTO, Nov. 22, 2017 ─ York University Professor Stephen Gaetz, Director of the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness, will be available to comment to media following the federal government announcement of a long-awaited national housing strategy.
An expert on homelessness and housing issues, Gaetz can comment on the causes of homelessness, including poverty, and the need for a national approach that addresses not only emergency housing needs, but prevention.
