A contact is a person who either has an established relationship with the University or has the potential to develop a relationship with the University. A contact could be a member of the University community, a person with whom the University conducts business, a person not yet associated with the University but who has the potential to become a future student, or a representative of an organization that maintains a relationship with the University.

A contact that is considered a member of the University community includes prospective students, students, faculty, staff, alumni and anyone with a direct association with the institution.

Other types of contact include agent, student parent or guardian, high school counsellor and donor.
