A Faculty division refers to all the faculty and staff members who are positioned below the Faculty (academic unit) level in the York University organization tree (Human Resources). It is also an element in the organizational hierarchy of the University.

Each of the University's Faculties has the flexibility to organize its Faculty division as it deems appropriate. For instance, the Office of the Dean could be situated at the top of the Faculty or as one of the organizational structures within the Faculty.
