Ontario Universities' Application Centre
Synonym(s): OUAC, Ontario University Application Centre
The Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) is a centralized processing center for applications for undergraduate admission to the universities of Ontario. The OUAC receives applications, processes the application, and then transfers the information directly to the universities in Ontario.
An active/current Ontario high school student must use OUAC to apply for admission to York. All other prospective undergraduate students may apply through OUAC or to York directly. The OUAC does not make admission decisions.
The OUAC also administers applications for Teacher Education Application Service (TEAS) and Ontario Law School Application Service (OLSAS). A student applying to York's Consecutive Bachelor of Education program must apply using the TEAS application. A student applying to Osgoode Hall's LLB program must use the OLSAS application.
