Club

A York University approved and recognized club is a voluntary, membership-driven organization that is dedicated to a particular interest or activity for a specific constituency. Recognized student clubs at York University may have access to privileges, as detailed in section eight of the Regulations Regarding Student Organizations. Such privileges include the use of University space and facilities, student levies, financial and in-kind University grants or donations, office space and University-hosted email addresses and website URLs. This also includes coordinated support such as training, resources, guidance, and events.
Clubs are created and run by students to pursue and contribute to the educational, recreational, social or cultural quality and diversity of life at York University.
Club activities are not necessarily always run on campus.
