The 27th iteration of the Constitutional Cases conference will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Osgoode Professional Development in downtown Toronto (1 Dundas St W, #2602).
The keynote Laskin Lecture will be given by Dr. Debra Thompson, Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Racial Inequality in Democratic Societies at McGill University. Her research, teaching, and public scholarship seek to analyze the complex historic and contemporary relationships among race, the state, and inequality in Canada and other democratic societies.
Osgoode Hall Law School’s Annual Constitutional Cases Conference, recognized as the leading constitutional law conference in Canada, brings together many highly respected constitutional scholars, lawyers, students, and experts for an insightful and practical analysis of the Supreme Court’s significant constitutional judgments of the past year.
This year, we have chosen to recognize the benefits of being in person along with the flexibility and access that online options offer by holding this conference in a hybrid fashion.
