We are pleased to announce a new appointment in Osgoode Hall Law Library. Brenda is joining our technical services team as Technical Services Librarian.
Brenda is an integral part of the law library team. She joined Osgoode Hall Law Library as a Reference Librarian in March 2024. She has provided exceptional reference services to students, staff, and the general public.
In her new role, Brenda will work with the technical services team to ensure a seamless and smooth management of the library’s electronic and physical resources. She will provide support to content cataloguing and acquisitions, and she will assist with trouble shooting technical problems with the library’s online catalogue.
One of Brenda’s projects for the next several months will be to spearhead a project to create finding aids and detailed data inventory of Osgoode Hall Law Library’s collection of Supreme Court of Canada historical facta. This document collection, which spans from 1877 to 1981, was donated to the library from the Law Society of Ontario. Brenda’s work in cataloguing the collection will allow the Osgoode community to access this rich resource.
