Overview and recommendations for Ontario universities
This Fact Sheet is designed to offer guidelines and orientation to Ontario colleagues and students when identifying the right universities in Baden-Württemberg for their exchange. For any questions, please feel free to reach out to Tina Bebensee, OBW coordinator: exchange.programs@uni-konstanz.de.
The Fact Sheets of all participating universities can be found on the OBW website.
General recommendations:
- As the German course catalog is only published 1-2 months before the classes start, we recommend to browse courses from former semesters for orientation.
- No German language proficiency is needed to participate in the OBW program. However, for some courses and/or departments in BW, German proficiency is necessary to follow German taught classes.
- As comprehensive universities, the course offer at each institution is very broad. This Fact Sheet provides some English-taught recommendations, but students can join classes from all departments and also study across disciplines, combining different fields of study.
