We are a boutique multidisciplinary firm specializing in public and private sector procurement consulting, advisory, and training services and risk reviews of previously procured services, projects and products. The industries we support are I & IT, infrastructure and energy. Services we deliver include procurement staff augmentation, strategic specialist services, fairness advisory services, P3, IPD, and DB+ advisory, bid dispute reviews, negotiation, contract management and delay claims reviews, vendor management, procurement training and arbitration.
We support all levels of government and large corporates, advising on both traditional and alternative methods of procurement and strategic sourcing needs. We also advise private sector companies seeking bid and/or procurement support. We are retained by clients administering a combination of high valued, sensitive, and/or complex initiatives (multiple procurements). This allows our services to be regularly tested, audited, and refined. We have demonstrated sound methodologies designed, developed, and delivered to protect the interests of the non-profit, public and private organizations we support. Our repeat business engagements with existing clients are testament to our expertise and the exceptional quality of our service delivery.
Community & Social Impact
RGM is a Diverse Supplier who Supports Diverse Suppliers, by building a diverse team and buying diversely certified services and products through our procurement efforts. It is our objective to promote an energized, engaging, healthy and safe work environment for our team members, and when we are working with our clients, we reflect this approach and behaviour in completing our tasks in their offices as well while working alongside their team members. It is a core value and ongoing initiative of RGM to ensure that we hire and buy in a manner that is socially responsible. With our team (leadership, consultants, and subcontractors) reflecting the diversity of our community we can confirm that we are a diverse employer/contractor.
RGM makes every effort to work with and support other diverse suppliers in sourcing the services or goods that we require to ensure we embody the practices we hope to inspire. This has been rewarding to all sectors that we serve including the Infrastructure, Energy, and I& IT development areas in addition to our corporate structures, processes, marketing, and training.
To ensure that we continue to meet our goal of supporting and advocating for supplier diversity we ensure that at least one of the quotations that we receive when sourcing services is from a verifiable diverse supplier when possible. Diverse suppliers are majority owned businesses by either a visible minority, woman, indigenous, veteran, LGBTQ, or alternatively abled person. Due to our leadership and proven measurable success conducting social procurement and as a diverse supplier, RGM has been spotlighted as a 2019 success story by the City of Toronto’s Certified Diverse Supplier Social Procurement Program. RGM has also been spotlighted in the DiversityCan Magazine in November 2020, having delivered services successfully to the City of Toronto.
Our notable accomplishments in the diverse suppliership realm include, RGM being awarded the Women Business Enterprise (WBE) of Canada’s 2019 Rising Star Award, for its economic, business, and innovative impact on the diverse community it serves, and due to its executive’s exemplary leadership and community contribution. In addition, RGM received one of the 2020 Women Business Enterprise (WBE) of Canada’s Leader Award for exemplary leadership and community recognition. RGM was additionally named a top 5 finalist for the 2021 & 2023 CAMSC Small Business of the Year Award and won the 2021 WBE Canada Top Supplier of the Year Award for business growth and substantial contribution to the diverse supplier community.
The RGM team is regularly requested to share and promote the benefits of diverse suppliership and does so both in printed articles and conference settings on numerous occasions.
In recent years RGM has been awarded with the 2019 WBE Canada Rising Star Award, a 2020 WBE Canada Leader Award, identified as a Top finalist for the 2021 & 2023 CAMSC Small Business of the Year Award and was awarded the 2021 WBE Canada Top Supplier of the Year Award.
Secondly, we believe in green mindfulness, and encourage our team members to act in an environmentally conscientious manner regarding energy waste and reduce our corporate waste generated. Our approach includes taking steps to encourage environmental and energy awareness, the utilization of alternate energy sources, energy conscientious behavior at the office and at home and buying green when possible. The energy sector and climate resiliency are key interests of our company and our team members where we are engaged in both consulting and training efforts through various clients and partnerships.
Thirdly, we do our best to think globally about our procurement consulting efforts. We think and act globally in our day-to-day service delivery. Demonstrating our commitment to environmental and social responsibility given the reach and impact of infrastructure, energy and I&IT procurement on the community we serve, is important to us. We recognize that that there are many unknown and known solutions to the challenges our clients face, and we have found it both beneficial and prudent to actively find and assess these, to support the established principles and best practices we apply in resolving our clients’ issues.
In addition to deliver socially responsible professional services, RGM and its team members alike, believe in both physically devoting time to community service and creating opportunities financially through active philanthropy where possible using our business and personal gains. A few of the examples our team has been thrilled to commit to over the years include the supporting of our local hospital developments and research initiatives, and donating our time to non-profit charities, that work to eliminate housing instability, social justice and social work, and education.
The other example which brings us great pride includes funding the primary and secondary school educational fees, food, tools and medical supports of young women between the ages 5-17 in the rural communities of Tanzania, whose families have experienced immense economic challenges and instability, which without assistance would result in the further needless suffering of the next generation.
