Research
My research is currently focused in the realm of fluid mechanics, where I have considered a variety of topics from interfacial flows to geophysical turbulence. Wherever possible, I am to guide my theoretical inquiries based on experimental or observational data, and also have grown interested in leveraging machine-learning techniques to extract meaningful insight from large datasets.
I am a member of the STRATA Research Group, whose objective is to generate and analyze direct numerical simulations of turbulent flows influenced by buoyancy, as commonly appear in a variety of geophysical, industrial and environmental scenarios.
