As a Course Director in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University, Toronto, ON, Canada, I take great pride in providing my students with a comprehensive and stimulating academic experience. It has always been my passion to offer a learning environment that is both enjoyable and informative. My educational background includes a Ph.D. and M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). During my time there, I focused on experimental, theoretical, and numerical studies of Thermo-fluids systems. I spent almost a year of my Ph.D. in the Microgravity Research Centre at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium. NSERC, OGS, QEIIGSST, CSA, ESA, MITACS, etc. supported my Ph.D. study.
I have over seventeen years of teaching and research experience in seven publicly funded Canadian post-secondary institutes in Toronto, ON, including the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University; the full list is here.
Additionally, as a licensed and professional engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.), I have extensive knowledge in mechanical engineering, mathematics and engineering.
I am a father of two children and a nature enthusiast.
