I am a Canadian, born in Hamilton Ontario. I did my Ph.D. work with Prof. Howard Yee at the University of Toronto. I did postdocs at Yale University, Leiden Observatory and The Kavli Institute of Cosmology at Cambrdige. I love astronomy, but have plenty of extra-curricular research I like to do as well. I own an African Grey Parrot Named Jaco(see below). I also love F1 racing and I am an avid runner. In 2013 I finished my first-ever marathon in Leiden.
