Elevating Cybersecurity Vigilance: Cybersecurity, Social Engineering, and AI Threats in K-12 Education

In this talk, I explored the evolving landscape of cyber threats targeting K-12 schools, highlighting the shift from traditional group-based attacks to sophisticated AI-driven cybercrime. By demonstrating how a lone attacker with AI tools can pose a significant threat, the discussion emphasizes the urgent need for proactive measures, including cybersecurity education, robust defenses, and fostering a culture of awareness among educators, students, and administrators. Attendees gained insights into safeguarding schools in an increasingly AI-powered world.
