The ACUNS Student Conference on Northern Studies was established in 1986 to increase awareness of northern research and to provide the opportunity for emerging northern scholars to gather and share their research and their experiences. It is a triennial event with a thematic focus, largely organized by a committee of graduate students from one of our member institutions.

La Conférence AUCEN des étudiants en études nordiques a été mise en place en 1986 afin de sensibiliser davantage les gens à la recherche circumpolaire au Canada et ailleurs et de permettre aux chercheurs du monde entier de se réunir. Il s’agit d’un événement triennal qui propose une approche thématique et qui est organisé dans l’ensemble par un comité d’étudiants de l’université hôte.
