The purpose of this co-creation workshop, When People Talk, Listen Completely. Most People Never Listen, hosted by Dr. Claire Davies (Queen's University) and Dr. Shital Desai (York University), is to engage persons with speech impairments, academics, healthcare practitioners, and employers to understand perceptions around speech impairments, identify systemic barriers, and propose areas of investigation that can enhance the employment of persons with speech impairment.
