Perspectives

Perspectives are concise opinion pieces meant to spark public dialogue and encourage new ways of thinking on a range of work and labour related issues. These articles are meant to inform and promote labour perspectives in a manner that challenges the current state of knowledge in a particular field. Perspectives pieces should be limited to 700-900 words. References should be kept to a minimum and embedded (hyperlinked) in-text.

Prospective authors are encouraged to look at this document to find out about the GLRC’s mandate and core themes. Examples of perspectives pieces published elsewhere can be found here and here.

The views expressed in this series are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent those of the Global Labour Research Centre or of York University.
