The Korean Office for Research and Education (KORE), part of York University’s York Centre for Asian Research, is an important hub for Korean Studies in Canada. Launched in 2018 with funding from the Academy of Korean Studies, KORE fosters innovative Korean Studies through interdisciplinary work. Its faculty members lead research, support education, and promote international collaboration. KORE also provides undergraduate and graduate students with academic and research support and mentorship.
