KORE is very excited to explore the possibilities of collaboration, sharing, cooperation and solidarity among Korean Studies faculty and institutions and to revive the energy of the past Canadian Association for Korean Studies (~1996). In this spirit, KORE hosted the inaugural meeting of the Consortium for Korean Studies in Canada on 14 April 2025, with interest from scholars across 11 universities nationally.
