On 02 December 2024, the Korean Office for Research and Education (KORE) held its inaugural celebration of Korean Studies at York University. Students, faculty and visitors came together to network, learn about KORE’s activities, and about each other’s work. Graduate students gave speak talks on their research. KORE’s Director, Ann Kim (Sociology) and faculty members presented on research, Korea courses at York, including the upcoming Summer 2025 course in Korea, and funding opportunities.
