This matrix (below) allows you to identify which resources meet the needs of your students and course by choosing the relevant skill and competency you want them to achieve. In each section of the matrix, you will find a brief description of student experience and the level of understanding expected at that given stage of development.
The links in the matrix will take you different sections of the Envision YU digital textbook where you can find student-facing resources. From there, you can download and modify content to suit your course. You can also download a PDF version of the matrix with in-depth descriptions.
The capacities at the comprehending and developing stages are designed to transition students into university, while at the applying and advancing stages the resources will help prepare students in their transition out of university.
