We are now accepting abstracts for our annual conference in Canadian Studies. This is an amazing opportunity to present your research in the field and connect with fellow scholars from York University and beyond.
This year's conference is Transgressing the Nation-State: Constructs of Canadian Identity. Potential topics may include the legacies, experiences, or expressions of Canadians whose social locations vary on the basis of gender, race, sexuality, ability, or other factors. Papers on other topics will also be considered, and we encourage students from a wide variety of disciplines to interpret the overall theme.
Proposals should be approximately 250 words in length, and must be submitted by January 15th, 2017.
