Ethics in Indigenous Research Workshop - Registration Open

The workshop will be held in Kaneff Tower 519 from 8:30am – 5:30pm on Friday March 16, 2018. 

Opening remarks at 9am.

We invite Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars, faculty, senior undergraduate, and graduate students to engage in a day of meaningful conversations about the responsibilities of ethical research engagements with Indigenous communities, including forms this research might take within the context of a changing sociopolitical landscape. We invite you to come together and explore thought-provoking ethics issues in diverse areas of Indigenous research.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: 
Deborah McGregor (Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Environmental Justice, Faculties of Law and Environmental Studies, York U) 
Julie Bull (Research Methods Specialist, Centre for Addiction & Mental Health and Indigenous Studies Program, U of Toronto).
