The book is co-edited by Andrea O'Reilly, School of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies. It is also co-edited by three York University alumni, May Friedman, who now teaches at Ryerson University in the School of Social Work and the Graduate Program in Communication and Culture; social worker Erika Jane Scholz; and Alyssa Teekah, who has organized in community and academic research spaces, working with queer Asian-Canadian filmmaker Richard Fung and the Centre for Women and Trans People at York University. Scholz and Teekah are the founders of the original Toronto SlutWalk.
