Babatunde Odugbemi is a PhD student in Global Health at York University. He uses his background in Medicine and Public Health to contribute to efforts towards achieving equitable health outcomes for vulnerable populations in Africa and globally. He has carried out research on the determinants of infectious disease and uptake of public health interventions in Nigeria. Currently, he is interested in the role of governance in the control of antimicrobial resistance as well as the social and environmental determinants of health.
