YCAR Graduate Associate, Shazia Javed (Film), was interviewed by the Times of India about her latest film project on the vulnerability of Muslim women in marital relationships because of the practice of triple talaq (divorce). Javed suggests that the best thing for allies to do is to amplify the voices of Muslim women activists who are working at the grassroots level in India and support the solutions offered by them.
