Jenna is a Doctoral Candidate in Social Anthropology. Her previous studies took place at the University of Toronto where she completed her undergraduate studies with a double major in Sociology and International Development Studies. Jenna then pursued her master’s degree at Toronto Metropolitan University specializing in Immigration and Settlement Studies. Her work has largely focused on migration and mobility and she continues to study topics of transnational migration at York University. Her doctoral research examines the migration experience of Filipina nurses and their transnational families in Canada and the Philippines.
