Daniel Uy is a master’s student in Social Anthropology. He is interested in queer Asian diaspora and how sexual, gender and racial identifications may intersect to produce different relationships to, or ideas about, bodily ideals and physique. His current research explores queer racialized men in the spaces of health and fitness as a precursor for Pride events. Other research interests include language use in social media and on social dating platforms.
