Vanessa Lamb is a geographer who studies social, political and environmental change in Southeast Asia, mainly Burma (Myanmar), Thailand and Cambodia. Her research interests include social and environmental justice, social economy, borders and migration, water governance, and participatory research methods. She completed her doctorate at York University and since that time has held positions at the University of Melbourne and University of Toronto.
