Allow me to introduce myself and share my academic journey.

I graduated with first-class honours, earning a bilingual double major in Political Science and International Studies from York University. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs at the Glendon School of Public and International Affairs. Last year, I had the privilege of taking part in an international exchange program at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where I immersed myself in the study of International Political Economy and delved into the intricacies of the Philippines' foreign policy. This enriching experience provided me with a comprehensive perspective on Canada's international reputation, encompassing both commendations and critiques.

My research thesis critically examined the challenges facing the Liberal International Order, with a specific focus on the rise of the People's Republic of China as a peer competitor within the prevailing international system. This work has deepened my convictions. It is clear that we are operating in a global environment marked by increasing uncertainty, yet offering substantial opportunities to enhance and fortify our bilateral relations with Asia. This flourishing region has much to offer, and there is a wealth of knowledge we can gain from it. It's essential that we strive to understand each other better, enhance existing collaborations, and embrace and celebrate our cultural differences. As you can see, my expertise primarily centres on the Indo-Pacific region. However, I fully acknowledge the paramount importance of cultivating a well-rounded understanding of global politics.
