Research Keywords:

Daoism; Heidegger; Neo-Confucianism; Gadamer

I have several years of teaching experience in the humanities and have found a creative niche in East-West comparative philosophy. Thus far, I have been creating points of contact and divergence between Gadamer and Neo-Confucianism, specifically Chung-ying Cheng's onto-generative hermeneutics. More recently, I have been examining hermeneutics, Heidegger and Daoism in the context of environmental philosophy. This has brought me to Zhuangzi about whom I have much more to learn.
