My journey through prior academic pursuits has honed my research skills, cultivated my ability to critical thinking, and developed an understanding of the importance of communication and media research to society. My interest in communication and media-related topics has led me towards further advanced education and completing exhaustive research work, and my relevant work experience has also reinforced my determination to continue to engage in academic work. As a first-year PhD student, I am honoured to be part of York Centre for Asian Research.
