Kasim Tirmizey researches agrarian and political change in Pakistan and colonial India. Some of his publications examine the anti-colonial politics of agrarian labour in South Asia. He completed his PhD at York University, held post-doctoral fellowships at Queen’s University and Lahore University of Management Sciences, and was an Assistant Professor (LTA) at Concordia University.
