I am a doctoral candidate in Political Studies at York University. My dissertation research explores the Moro conflict in Mindanao, Philippines, where I employ a gendered lens that seeks to not only make visible the work women have performed during conflict and peace times, but to further unpack how their Indigenous and ethnic Lumad, Moro and Christian identities have shaped their experiences and visions of peace. I completed my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Equity Studies at the University of Toronto and completed my MA in Globalization Studies at McMaster University.
