Hong Na is a full-time lecturer with more than 15 years of teaching experience in crosscultural communication, English-Chinese translation practice as well as academic English writing courses. She is expert in a cross-disciplinary thinking style and comparative research methods with her research interests in comparative literature with different perspectives. She has participated in several research projects and foundations at Shandong University, China, and cooperated with scholars from different disciplines such as sociology, marketing and communications. At present, she is working on a joint study with Russian and American scholars on how culture interacts with media technologies in layout aesthetics of brand and is responsible for the China research. Dr Hong is a visiting scholar at YCAR until June 2025.
