I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Economics at York University. Before pursuing graduate study in Canada, I had a nine-year professional career in the banking industry in Vietnam. Then, I completed an MA degree in economics at Simon Fraser University before joining the PhD program at York. My research interest focuses on macroeconomics, particularly misallocation and productivity in developing countries, especially Vietnam.
