Yawen Liu is a Visiting Graduate Associate at the York Centre for Asian Research. She is undertaking her doctoral studies in Public Management at the Harbin Institute of Technology. Yawen’s research focuses on collaborative innovation in the context of new industrialization. The core objective of her study is to explore how multiple stakeholders, including governments, businesses, academic institutions and research organizations, engage in innovation activities. At York, she is working with Qiang Zha (Education). Yawen holds a bachelor’s degree in vehicle engineering from Northwest A&F University and a MEng in mechanical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology.
