YCAR researchers working on Asia or Asian migrations can often benefit from the insights of local community leaders, activists and public intellectuals in Toronto’s Asian communities. The YCAR Community Research Engagement Fund provides support for events that reverse the traditional dissemination of knowledge from academia to community; instead allowing community members outside the university to share their knowledge and experience with students and researchers at York.
Applications should be submitted by a sponsoring YCAR Faculty Associate using the form below. Amounts awarded usually range between $200 and $400.
